Seattle Museum of Flight and Chihuly Bridge of Glass

One day adaption to jetlag is enough ;-) Therefore we left Seattle and headed to Bremerton for the night. But how to spend the day? Well, there is the Museum of Flight, which I discovered on an earlier trip to WA. And searching the Internet, I found the Chihuly Bridge of Glass in Tacoma.

You will find signs advertising the Seattle Museum of Flight all over the city. I've seen them when I've been to WA for LFNW earlier in 2016.

The museum hosts a great number of old planes, more than 150 at this time. Among them the first Boeing 747, a Concorde, a Douglas DC-2 and a Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation. The main area is located on the west side of E Marginal Way S, but additional planes are exhibited across the street near the small airfield. At the airfield you can also book round flights in old planes.

Also down the street from the Museum is the funniest Starbucks I've ever seen. It's places in a container, and serves as a drive-through only:

From the Flight Museum we went south, to Tacoma. There is a nice piece of artwork, called the Chihuly Bridge of Glass. It's next to the Museum of Glass, and crosses the Interstate. The bridge is decorated with artworks made from glass.

We used the place to find a few Geocaches, and find lunch across the street.
