Back from Monte Cristo
The third day of our #PGBackPacking trip was the day we hiked back to the cars, and returned to our home or hotel in Bellingham.
But we started the day easy. Long breakfast, and another town visit for me.
Monte Cristo town
Found three more Geocaches, among them a Multicache which can only be solved with data which I gathered during the hike to Monte Cristo on the first day. All in all I found 6 out of 12 Geocaches I had on my mobile phone - not a bad cut.
Also found 2 out of the 5 hotels which the town had during the high period around a hundred years ago.
Way back
After breakfast we broke down the tents and gathered our belongings, we also made sure that we leave no trash behind.
The way back to the car was unspectacular, same path as two days before. Only that now everyone was a bit tired from the long hike yesterday, and was looking forward to a shower.
This ends this years #PGBackPacking trip, and also our vacation.

This years summer vacation brought us to the American Northwest. First of all, it was a surprise in multiple ways for our kid - it did not know where we are going until we arrived at the gate for the final flight in Frankfurt. It did not know that we are Comment (1)
