A while ago I asked for recommendations for Android Podcast apps. From all over the Internet I got a great number of recommendations, and looked into all of them.

In the end, I settled with Podcast Addict. It has a nice and intuitive GUI, can speed-up Podcast playback at any rate (I usually listen to Podcasts at 2x speed), and it allows me to limit the download to known Wi-Fi networks. That’s quite useful to make sure that the nightly update will not eat away the mobile traffic data volume.
