Arch Linux: mount: unknown filesystem type 'exfat'

A short while ago I moved a couple of laptops from Ubuntu to Manjaro. It's all going well, except today the kid came to me and told me: 'Can't open the SDcard from my camera. It's not working.' Don't you like it when all you get is 'it doesn't work'? Usually such a message by itself is not helpful, but in this case that was all he was able to tell me. Checked and indeed, when the card reader is attached, KDE pops up a notification, and the 'mount and open' option does nothing when clicked on the drive.

warning: btree:/var/lib/postfix/smtp_scache is unavailable. unsupported dictionary type: btree

Can't login into Spotify on Arch Linux or Manjaro: no browser window is opened

Installed the AUR Spotify client on my new Manjaro Linux system, started the app, tried to login - nothing happens. It is supposed to open a browser window where I enter my credentials, but that does not work.
